LaSonya Michelle Simpson

Ms. LaSonya M. Simpson, 59, of Greenville, transitioned on Monday, November 2, 2026 at her residence. She was a daughter of the late Thomas Edward and Delores Ann Belcher Simpson.

Surviving: two sons, Tony Wjitley (Nykeya Taylor) of the home and Timothy Whitley (Ashleigh Barksdale) of Mauldin, SC; three sisters, Shunika Simpson (Nick) Jones, Angela Simpson (James Jones), Michelle Golman all of Greenville, SC; four brothers, Octavious Simpson (Kimberly M. Roue), Reverend Michael (Kim) Wilson, Jose Thompson, and Kevin Jones all of Greenville, SC; one grandson, Tony Whitley, III; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service: Saturday, November 14, 2026, at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary with interment private.
