Ms. Jonell Penny, 83, of Greer, transitioned on Monday, December 15, 2025, at her residence. Born in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late Robert James and Maggie Sanders Penny.
Surviving: two daughters, Sheila Penny Smith of Columbus, GA and Tonia Smith of Greer, SC; four grandchildren, Mercedes, Mashundia, Sebastian and Khesj; four great-grandchildren, Joslin, Z’Keyiah, Ke-ahla and JA; niece, Eula Johnson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
