Mr. John Willie Dennis, 75, of Greer, South Carolina, passed on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at Pruitt Healthcare. He was a son of the late John H. and Pearl Johnson Dennis.
He was a self-employed concrete finisher and a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church #1.
Left to treasure many fond memories are his wife, Jewel Butler Dennis; two daughters, Gail (Ronald) Thompson and Lisa (Aston) Center, both of Simpsonville, SC; two sons, Dale (Lavette) Dennis of Simpsonville, SC, and Harold “Hank” (Jody) Dennis of Newark, NJ; a grandson reared in the home, Martakius Dennis of Greenville, SC; seven sisters, Louise (Bill) Finley, JoAnn (Richard) Webb, Odessa (Kevin) Green, Carrie (Joe) Jackson, Rachel (Guy) Wright, Tracy Dennis and Patricia (Richard) Gray, all of Simpsonville, SC; two brothers, Sylvester (Erma) Dennis and Ernest Dennis, both of Simpsonville, SC; eleven other grandchildren, Tosha, Octavius, Jalen, Ka’Bre, Tamadra, Taylor, Kiara, Deakerious, Janae, Mykyous and Mykyerious; one great-grandchild, Hailey; and a host of other relatives and friends.
