Mrs. Joella T. Scott

Mrs. Joella T. Scott, 87, of Greenville, South Carolina, widow of the late Roy Lee Scott, passed on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at her residence. Born in Taylors, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Vinson Avery and Nancy Thomas Thomason. 

Surviving: two daughters, Gloria Stephens of Fountain Inn, SC and Adrienne Gray of Greenville, SC; two bonus daughters, Angela N. Pace of Greenville, SC and Regina (Kevin) Washington, of Goose Creek, SC; one son, Rodney Leon (Tracy) Scott of Greenville, SC; one bonus son, Derrick R. (Alcia) Lindsay of Greenville, SC; six sisters, Sarah Griffin, of Greenville, SC, Laura Skinner of Greer, SC, Jurline Sims of Wake Forest, NC, Dorothy Thomason, of Taylors, SC, Roberta (Charles) Dawkins of Simpsonville, SC and Carolyn (Randall) Booker of Greenville, SC; one brother, Alfred Thomason of Dayton, OH; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

Funeral Services: Friday, July 12, 2024, at 1:00pm, Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary with interment in Bethlehem United Methodist Church cemetery.
