Mr. Jimmy Lee “JP” Peters, 62, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Friday, March 30, 2018, at Greenville Health System. He was a son of the late Dan Henry Peters and Lerlene Wicker Peters.
He attended Washington High School and worked as a landscaper.
He was preceded in death by his parents: a son, Jermaine Proctor; a granddaughter, Shantaria G. Hughes; a brother, Dan Henry Peters, Jr., and two sisters, Ruth Anne Jackson and Geraldine Peters Davis.
Left to cherish fond and loving memories are one daughter, Sherrie (Joseph) Hughes of Taylors; one stepson, Corey (Tonya) Proctor of Simpsonville; three sisters, Laura Peters, Betty Walker and Renda K. Gash, all of Greenville; three brothers, Johnny Ray Peters, Willie Herman Peters and Abraham Peters, all of Greenville; four grandchildren, Cyntaria Hughes, Quantaria Hughes, Zytaria Hughes and Joseph Hughes; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
