Mr. Jesse “Brother” Rosemond, Jr., 82, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at St. Francis Downtown. Born in Greenville County, he was the son of late Eva Barton Rosemond and Jesse Rosemond, Sr.
“Brother” was a retiree of BI-LO Warehouse. He joined the Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church at an early age.
He was preceded in death by five sisters, Annie Mae Rosemond Kilgore, Margaret R. Sherman, Idella Rosemond, Pearley R. Kelly and Barbara Rosemond and three brothers, Hovie Rosemond, Matthew Rosemond ans John Robert Rosemond.
Left to cherish fond memories are his daughters, Debra (Rufus) Holmes of Piedmont, Jennifer Hudson of Greenville, Melissa (Alonzo) Reed of Piedmont, Melinda (Stanton) Greggs of Greenville, Charlyene (John) Gallien of Simpsonville and Darnita Smith of Piedmont; sons, Ricky Rosemond of Greenville and Michael Thompson of Virginia; seventeen grand-children; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grand child and a host of other relatives and friends.
