Janice Beeks

Mrs. Janice Marie Beeks, 54, departed this life at Greenville Health System on Friday, April 29, 2016. Born in Moonville, she was a daughter of the late Larry Beeks and Margaret Sayles Beeks.

She was a graduate of Woodmont High School. She formerly worked at K&W Cafeteria and was a member of Refuge Temple Church. She was a cosmetologist and loved to cook.

Janice was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon “Peaches” Burnside; a brother, Eric “Papa G” Beeks and grandson, Kingsley Messiah Flemming.

Her memories will be in the hearts of her sons, Brandon (Jontayia Gray) Waldrop of Greenville, Demarcus Isaiah Flemming of Greenville; her sisters, Margaret Teresa Beeks, Madglane Beeks, Rosemary Beeks, and Margaret Ann Beeks, all of Greenville; her brother, Larry Thomas Beeks of Greenville; grandparents, Louis Sayles and Marie Brown Sayles of Greenville; aunts, Connie Sayles of Piedmont and Plumer Cooley of Greenville; uncles, Charles Sayles of Columbia and Louis (Aretha) Sayles, Jr. of Piedmont; two grandchildren, Brandon and Nasir Waldrop and a host of other relatives and friends.
