Mr. James Calvin “Cowboy” Hill, 48, of Mauldin, South Carolina, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2017, at Greenville Health System. Born in Greenville, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Willie Irby and Mary Ellen Hill McHerring.
He was preceded in death by his parents; maternal grand- parents, Arie Hill and Jessie B. Hill; paternal grandparents, Willie Irby and Lois Irby; uncles, BJ Hill and Ernest Irby and nephew, Devaress Walker.
Fond and loving memories will be cherished by his sisters, Lisa (Angela) McHerring of Greenville; Sonya (David) Nelson of Georgia, SaWanda Woody and Artrell (James) McKinney, Cassandra Bussy and Tasha Clark, all of Greenville and Christle (Ramon) Robinson of Mauldin; brothers, Willie Hill of Mauldin and Archie Franklin McHerring of Greenville; and a host of other relatives and friends.
