Mr. James Oscar “Gatewood” Gray, 65, of Greenville, SC transitioned on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at Prisma Healthcare Greenville, Memorial Hospital. Born in Greenville, SC; he was the son of Annie Elizabeth Gatewood, and the late James William Gray.

Surviving: in addition to his mother: one daughter, Jaimie (Ramone Sullivan) Gatewood, of Greenville, SC; one bonus son, Corodrus (Heather) Johnson, of Greenville SC; three sisters, Mary Jones, of Greenville, SC; Teresa Margaret Gray, Peggy Gray, Mary Gray, all of Cincinnati, OH; four brothers, Joseph (Rebecca) Gatewood, Jr., Steve Gatewood, Isaiah “ Cookie” Gatewood, and Ronnie Watkins, all of Cincinnati, OH; five grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Sunday, March 15, 2026, 4:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment private.
