Mr. James Gist Jr., 84, husband of Debra Jean Crouch-Gist, of Greenville, transitioned Thursday, August 27, 2026, at McCall Hospice House.
Surviving, in addition to his wife: three sons, James A. (Gwendolyn) Sullivan, Darius Gist, and Marius (Issa) Gist, all of Greenville, SC; one brother, Thomas (Joan) Gist of Greenville, SC; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services, Wednesday, September 9, 2026, 11:00AM at Rock Hill #1 Baptist Church, with interment in M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
