James Easterling

Mr. James Easterling, 84, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at his residence. He was a son of the late Eddie Bennett and Amelia Odessa Lockhart.

Surviving are his wife, Shirley Scott Easterling of Greenville; seven daughters, Portia (Terrence) Johnson of Taylors, SC, Asya Beyah (Barry) Gilmore of Hollywood, FL, Shaerrise (June E.) Dowell-Burton of Pennsylvania, Quadirrah (Razzak) Mohamaddi of East Orange, NJ, Sharon Davis of Dallas, Texas, Desire (Eric) Buckner of Baltimore, MD, and Jaquetta Bowen of Newark, NJ; two brothers, Rodrick Shea (Regina) Bowman of Roselle Park, NJ, and Eddie Darnell Bracewell of Newark, NJ; three sisters, Johnolla of Laurinburg, NC, Christine and Annie of California; two brothers, Larry Easterling of Laurinburg, NC, and David of New Jersey; twenty-three grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
