Mr. James E. Bowens, 77, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2013 at Magnolia Manor. Born in Anderson County, he was the son of the late Luther and Annie Ree Sligh Bowens.

Left to cherish many loving memories is his wife, Rosa Lee Johnson of Greenville; daughter, Gail Wright of the home; sisters, Annette Bowens of Greenville and Mable Henderson of Easley; eight grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren.
