Homer Austin Jr.

Mr. Homer Austin, Jr., 92, of Easley, South Carolina, passed on Tuesday, February 18, 2020, at his residence. He was the son of the late Homer, Sr., and Josie Neal Austin.
He was retired from Piedmont Natural Gas. He attended Easley Union Baptist Church where he served on the Usher Board.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Orabeath Austin; a son, David Austin; two sisters, Vera Simpson and Ruby Murphy; and three brothers, James Austin, Ok Austin and Claude Austin.
Surviving: two sons, Ricky Austin of Easley, and Homer Ferrell of Greenville; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three devoted nieces, Gerri Richardson, Elizabeth Henderson and Malinda Anderson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
