Ms. Hollie Mae Johnson Gilliard, 63, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023, at St. Francis Hospital, Downtown. She was a daughter of Dorothy Mae Brownlee Johnson and the late Otis Johnson, Sr.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by one daughter, Tesha (Otis) Rector of Simpsonville, SC; one son, Dante’ Gilliard (Shauntay Flemmings) of Greenville, SC; two brothers, Donnell Johnson and Otis Johnson, Jr., both of Greenville, SC; three grandchildren, Ja’Quas Harris, Omari T. Rector and Londyn N. Gilliard; two aunts, Min. Barbara Josey and Ethel Dillard, both of Greenville, SC; three uncles, James (Helen) Brownlee, Willie Brownlee and Richard (Rosa) Josey, all of Greenville, SC; and a host of nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Sunday, April 16, 2023, 2:00pm, at Queen Street Baptist Church, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
