Hazel Jean Austin

Ms. Hazel Jean Chapman Austin, 60, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Monday, January 1, 2018, at McCall Hospice House. She was a daughter of Nettie Johnson Chapman and the late James Chapman, Sr.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Chapman, Sr., and a sister, Doris McCloud.

Left to cherish many loving and kind memories are her husband, David M. Austin of Greenville; mother, Nettie Johnson Chapman of Greenville; one son, Jerome (Sabrina) Chapman of Greenville; two brothers, James (Lynn) Chapman, Jr., and Terry Chapman, both of Greenville; three grandchildren, Jasper (Rochelle) Chapman, Jayda Chapman and Romie Chapman, all of Greenville; three great-grandchildren, Jordan Chapman, Malik Johnson and Joshua Chapman; and a host of other relatives and friends.
