Ms. Guynell J. Houston, 74, of Spartanburg, transitioned on Friday, February 6, 2026 at Prisma Healthcare Greer. Born in Spartanburg, she was a daughter of the late Jimmy Nolan and Carrie Rapley Johnson.
Surviving: two daughters, Carol Hampton of Spartanburg, SC and Nellie Griffin of Mount Clemens, MI; two sisters, Sandra Morgan of Fountain Inn, SC and Pamela Sullivan of Greenville, SC; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Tuesday, February 17, 2026, 11:00am, at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary with interment private.
