Gitana Hawthorne

Gitana Camerlita Hawthorne of Greenville, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at Greenville Health System.

She was a daughter of Mrs. Mildred Hawthorne and the late Elijah Hawthorne, Jr. She was a graduate of Southside High School, Class of 1981 and South Carolina State College, Class of 1994.

Gitana leaves to cherish loving memories: her mother, Mildred Hawthorne of Greenville; one sister, Lolita Hawthorne Williams; one niece, Carai Tiyana Williams; one nephew, Jachai Malik Williams, both of Taylors, SC; one aunt, Lois Abraham of Marietta, GA; special cousins, Wanda Beasley and Roslyn Abraham, both of Marietta, GA and Valerie Neely of Laurens, SC; a special family friend, Cindy Pearson of Spartanburg, SC and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
