Mrs. Gerrilene Sherman Gaines, 76, of Greenville, South Carolina, widow of the late Leroy Gaines, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024 at her residence. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Thomas V. and Thelma Latimer Sherman.
Surviving: one son, Lerion R. “Nick” (Terressa “Toney”) Gaines of Inman, SC; one sister, Freddie B. Pendergrass of Greenville, SC; five grandchildren; three bonus grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one bonus great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Sunday, November 10, 2024, 1:00pm, at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, with interment in Church Cemetery.
