Mr. George Phillip "Phil" Land, 49, of Pickens, South Carolina, husband of Shirley Powell Land, passed away Friday, January 26, 2024. He was a son of the late Phillip A. Griffin and Ernestine Brucie Land Griffin.
Surviving: in addition to his wife, two daughters, Shirmyra (Byron) Powell of Hartwell, GA and Adria Thompson o Rock Hill, SC; one brother, Jason (Java) Griffin; two grandchildren, Javion Powell and Bryson Thompson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral Services: Sunday, February 4, 2024, 2:00pm, at Griffin Ebenezer Baptist Church, with interment private.
