Mr. Eugene “Gene” Abercrombie, 68, of 222 Kondros Circle, Greenville, passed on Saturday, June 11, 2016, at St. Francis Downtown Hospital. Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late Ernest Odell and Bertha Wilhena Abercrombie.
Surviving: daughters, Stephanie (Joshua) Dawkins of Greenville and Betty McGee of Simsonville; sons, Sandelco R. (Desiree M. Downs) Abercrombie of Greenville, Ricky McKinney of Taylors and Travis Abercrombie of Greenville; brothers, Ernest Charles Abercrombie of Greenville and Andrew (Dorothy) Abercrombie of Greenville; fourteen grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
