Ethel Blassingame

Mrs. Ethel Bernice Blassingame, 65, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Sunday, June 18, 2017, at McCall Hospice House. She was born in Greenville, and was a daughter of the late T. C. and Virginia Makins Glenn.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, John C. Glenn, Michael Glenn and Roy A. Glenn and two sisters, Patricia A. McCombs and Janie R. Green.

She leaves to cherish many fond memories, her daughters, Melissa B. Blassingame (Renee) and Maria T. Wells, both of Greenville; sons, John L. (Toni) Glenn and James A. Wells, III, both of Greenville; a sister, Lucille Gambrell of Anderson; brothers, Charles R. Glenn and Tommy (Ola) Glenn, both of Greenville; one grandchild, Alexia L. Blassingame, who was raised in the home; a special friend, ChiChi Nava and her caregiver, Betty Harrell; and a host of other relatives and friends.
