Mrs. Ernestine E. McBee
August 7, 1943 — March 14, 2025
Mrs. Ernestine E. McBee, 81, of Greenville, wife of James L. McBee, Sr., for sixty-two years, transitioned on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Theodore and Earnestine Golman Diggs.
Surviving, in addition to her husband: three daughters, Teresa Smith and Beverly McKenzie, both of Mauldin, SC and Danielle Crawford of Greenville, SC; two sons, James L. McBee, Jr., and D’Marcus McBee both of Greenville, SC; one sister, Betty Jo Lasenberry of Greenville, SC; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Wednesday, March 26, 2025, 11:00am, at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary with interment in Lowndes Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
