Ms. Ernestine A. Canty, 83, of Greenville South Carolina, passed on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Fountain Inn, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Jessie James Starks and Q.Z. Starks Young. She was predeceased by a daughter; Nicoletta (Nickie) Starks.
Surviving: a son; Josh Canty, of the home, sister; Sonja (Charles) Mickler-Smith, of Piedmont, SC; four grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. A very special nephew; Jordan Henry Smith, of Columbia SC.
A Celebration of Life will at a later date.
