Mrs. Ella Mae “Effie” Nix, 86, of Mauldin, passed on Friday, November 1, 2019, at her home. She was a daughter of the late Caesar and Ruby Davenport Channell.
Surviving are her husband, Jimmie Nix of the home; two daughters, Stephanie Nix of Piedmont, and Jocelyn Nix of Mauldin; five sisters, Eula Channell of Mauldin, Doris Norman and Susie Jones, both of Greenville, and Maggie (Melvin) McDaniels of Simpsonville, and Thelma McKinney of Travelers Rest; one brother, James Channell of Greenville; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
