Mrs. Eleanor Jones, 86, of Greenville, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at home. Born in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late Walker and Lula Jane Kirksey Gambrell. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Jones, and son, Kenneth Curtis Jones.
Surviving: daughters, Judone Jones and Jurone Jones of Greenville; son, Dana A. (Michelle) Jones of Raleigh, NC; sisters, Irene Riley of Greenville and Azaree (Harry) Brunner of Simpsonville; brothers, Charles K. Gambrell of Mauldin and Arnell “Byrd” Gambrell of Scotch Plains, NJ; one grandchild, Juanita T. Jones of Easley; one great-grandchild, Christina A. Kennedy; and a host of other relatives and friends.
