Elder JC Peters

Elder JC Peters, 71, of Yma, Arizona, husband of Patricia Peters, of Yuma, AZ transitioned Sunday September 20, 2026, at Onvida Health. Born in Greenville, South Carolina, he was a son of the late James Peters, Sr. and Phyllis Cunmingham.

Surviving, in addition to his wife: one daughter, Jacqueline (Jeffery) Dendy of Greenville, SC; three sons, Curtis (Keisha) Marant, Gerald Rodgers and Terrance Miles all of Greenville, SC; four sisters, Dorothy Ann Thomas, Eunice Peters Watts, Sara Ellen Peters and Prima (Jimmy) Burnside all of Greenville, SC; three brothers, James Peters, Jr., of Greenville, SC, Mark Andrew (Herlinda) Peters of Arizona and Bernard (Sharay) Peters of Greenville, SC; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services:  Friday, October 2, 2026, 1:00pm, at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary with interment in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
