Deacon Edward Sylvester Frazier, 93, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at Rainey Hospice of the Upstate in Anderson, South Carolina. Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Eugene and Janie Lewis Frazier. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Mr. Frazier was the husband of the late Vernese Garrett Frazier for 50 years.
He is survived by seven children, Edward “Kenneth” (Kaye) FrazIer of Easley, SC, Sherry L. Frazier of Columbia, SC, Quida F. Bennon of Mauldin, SC, Donald D. Frazier of Greenville, SC, Ronald (Antionette) Frazier of Gaffney, SC, Angela F. Robinson of Simpsonville, SC and Opal (Larnarda) Blackmon of Upper Marlboro, MD; twenty-seven grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Saturday, October 28, 2023, 1:00pm at New Zion Fire Baptized Holiness Church with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
