Ms. Edna Mae Harris McMahand, 93, of Greer, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at St. Francis Hospital, Downtown. Born in Sumter, South Carolina, she was a daughter of Julia Haynesworth Harris.
Surviving: her seven children, Marilyn (David) Prince of Greer, SC, Patricia Burnette-Scranton of Greenville, SC, Rufus (Adriaenne) McMahand of Simpsonville, SC, Rev. Joyce (Howard) Edwards of Kingstree, SC, Stephen McMahand (Pauline Latimer) of Greenville, SC, Victoria “Vickie” Williams of Taylors, SC and Danny McMahand of Greenville, SC; her several bonus children; her three siblings, Emma Golden of Greenville, SC, Alfred Harris of Detroit, MI and Larry Harris of Tenneck, NJ; her sister-in-law, Mae Joyce McMahan of Simpsonville, SC; fourteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Tuesday, February 6, 2024, 11:00am, at St. Mark United Methodist Church, Taylors, SC with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
