Mr. Eddie Morris Simmons

Mr. Eddie Morris Simmons, 69, of Greenville South Carolina, passed away Friday, September 13, 2024, at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. Born in Myrtle Beach, SC, he was the son of the late Elliott and Mary Simmons Chestnut. 

Surviving: four daughters, April Pyatt, of Durham, NC; Jessica Lewis, of Myrtle Beach, SC; Star Gambrell and Ieisha Simmons, both of Greenville, SC; two sisters, Linda (Leon) Davis, of Myrtle Beach, SC; Emily (Michael) Johnson, of Conway, SC; four brothers, John Henry (Lucille) Simmons, of Myrtle Beach, SC; Reno Simmons, of Pee Dee, SC; Leroy Chestnut, and Christopher Chestnut, both of Myrtle Beach, SC; two grandchildren, De’Andre Scott, and Jaxon Marett, both of Greenville, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

Funeral Services: Friday, September 20, 2024, 4:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment private burial.
