Eddie Oscar Lattimore

Mr. Eddie Oscar “Big Timer” Lattimore, 69, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at his home. He was a son of the late Richard and Hattie Bell Corley Latimore.

Oscar was a 1967 graduate of Sterling High School. He was a hardworking, loving caring person. He worked at Union Bleachery Mill for many years then was a construction worker, until he fell off a building and broke his leg and damaged his kidney, causing him to go on dialysis for the rest of his life.

He was a faithful member of the Queen Street Baptist Church until his health declined and was not able to attend.

Oscar was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mamie Lou Holloway.

Left to cherish many loving memories are a dear friend, Norma Jean Davis of Greenville, SC; two sisters, Ella Mae Levan and Mattie Bell McKinney, both of Greenville, SC; one brother, Curtis Richard (Geraldine) Latimore of Greenville, SC; one aunt, Martha Latimore of Tallahassee, FL; one uncle, Paul Thomas Latimore of Greenville, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.


He fought a good fight but God saw fit to call him home.
