Mr. Eddie Maceo Garrett, 98, of Greenville, South Carolina, husband of Christine Aiken Garrett for 77 years, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at his residence. Born in Donalds, South Carolina, he was a son of the late George and Bessie Rice Garrett.
Surviving: in addition to his wife, four children, Gloria Jean Garrett-Hudson of Charlotte, NC, Linda Elaine Garrett, Morris Leon Garrett both of Greenville, SC and Reginald “Reggie” Garrett of Columbia, SC; two sisters, Mildred Greaux of Spring Valley, NY and Darlene Brooks of Ohio; eight grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Saturday, February 3, 2024, 11:00am, at Long Branch Baptist Church, with interment in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
