Dwight Gambrell

Mr. Dwight Errol “Buddy Boy” Gambrell, 63, passed away at home on Thursday, April 28, 2016. Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late James R. and Elizabeth Jones Gambrell.

He was a member of Long Branch Baptist Church.

Surviving family include one son, Dwight A. Looper of Atlanta, GA; four sisters, Shirley E. Gambrell of the home, Jacqueline G. Gambrell of Greenville, June E. Shell of Laurens, and Martha J. Anderson of Greenville; one brother, James L. Gambrell, Jr. of Greenville; an aunt, Catherine Owens of Philadelphia, PA; an uncle, Milton Gambrell of Valdosta, GA; a sister-in-law, Mary Gambrell of Greenville; a special friend, Gwen Abercrombie; extended family, Doris Wigfall, Eula Dawson, JoAnn Carter and Christina Wardlaw and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
