Dr. Mary Jo Young, 78, of 3 Piedmont Avenue, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2016, at home. Born in McLaurin, MS, she was a daughter of the late Elder Charlie and Mattie Mae Tart Brown.
Surviving: sisters, Mother Girlee Adams of Greenville and Doris M. Carter of the home; brother, Rev. Joe (Laura) Brown of Newark, DE; and a host of other relatives and friends.
