Mrs. Dorothy Lane Nero, 87, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at her residence. She was a daughter of the late Silas and Ida Mae Smith Lane. She was married to Mr. Glasper Nero for 44 years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by: three sons, Ricky Jamison and Joe Jamison both of Greenville, SC and Quinton Jamison of Sarasota, FL; one brother, Michael (Toni) Hicks of Huntsville, TX; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Friday, March 11, 2022, 10:00am, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
