Mrs. Dorothy Sirlener Alexander, 80, of Easley, wife of John H. Alexander, Sr. for 60 years, transitioned on Monday, March 16, 2026 at Prisma Healthcare Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Pickens County, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Thedore R. and Dorthula Keith Adams.
Surviving, in addition to her husband: one daughter, Karen Bowens (Chris Johnson) of Piedmont, SC; two sons, Karl Alexander and John (Terry) Alexander both of Piedmont, SC; three sisters, Ruby Adams Latimer of Mayland, Judy Garrett and Debra Adams both of Greenville, SC; two brothers, Thedore R. (Ruth) Adams, Jr. of Marietta, SC and Warren (Chris) Adams of Greenville, SC; three grandchildren, Nylia Bowens, Nathanial Alexander and Presley Alexander; one great-grandchild, Jayden Patterson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Tuesday, March 24, 2026, 1:00pm at Easley Union Missionary Baptist Church with interment in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
