Doris Griggs

Ms. Doris Bobbie “Aunt D” Griggs, 8 Harris Lane, Greenville, passed on Friday, October 20, 2017, at St. Francis Health System Downtown. She was a daughter of the late David and Frankie Louise Cato Griggs.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Pamela Griggs.

Left to cherish many fond memories are a daughter, Arlacawn Channer of Greenville; a son, Landers (Melissa) Griggs of Greenville; four sisters, Lynda McGreer, Rebecca (Joseph) Bowens, Verrica Griggs, all of Greenville, and Betty (Calvin) Drayton of Jamaica, NY; one brother, Foster (Elaine) Griggs of Greenville; four grandchildren; Autmn Channer, Kia Elmore, Landers Quintez Griggs and Isaiah Holmes; four great-grandchildren; four aunts, Betty (David) Gantt and Jhonnie Mae Gray, both of Chicago, IL, Eleanor Cato of Greenville and Rosa Cato of Columbia; an uncle, Rayford (Cornelia) Cato of Greenville; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
