Mrs. Doris M. Brannon Cumby, 81, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away Monday, October 30, 2023, at her residence. Born in Hughes Springs, TX, she was a daughter of the late John and Annie Peppers Brannon and the wife of the late Henry W. Cumby for over 35 years.
Surviving: one son, Henry W. “Bobby” (Edna) Cumby, Jr., of Valdosta, GA; three daughters, Belinda "Pennie" (Scott) Culbertson of Greer, SC, Monica (Darrell) Hewins of Simpsonville, SC, and Shanna Cumby of the home; one sister, Mary Jean Winters of Vancouver, WA; eight grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral Services: Tuesday, November 7, 2023, 1:00pm, at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
