Mr. Donnie Lee Downs, 68,of Greenville, South Carolina, husband to Geraldine Wesley Downs, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Chandler Creek Post Acute. He was a son of the late Effie Lee Sherman Downs.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Kieaunna Downs, of the home, a stepdaughter, Kierra (Edwin) Ortiz of Columbia, SC, Rachadd Downs, Delandrus (April) Downs of Greenville, SC, Deion Downs of the home, Quintin Gambrell of Fountain Inn, SC; two sisters, Francine Mayer and Ollie “Penny”(Bishop Chris) Pierce both of Greenville, SC; eight grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Saturday, May 4, 2024 3:00pm, at Watkins Garrett &Woods Mortuary, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
