Mr. Derrick “J-Bo” Thompson, 59, of Mauldin, South Carolina, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at Greenville Post Acute. He was a son of the late Fred Blassingame and Sophie Thompson Herrera.
Surviving: four daughters, Sade McGee of Greenville, SC; Brittany McGee of Piedmont, SC; Jamila Jones of Spartanburg, SC; and Malique Jones of Detroit, MI; two sisters, April (James) Williams of Anderson, SC; and Melinda (Dale) Gillispie of Fountain Inn, SC; one brother, Kenneth Thompson of Greer, SC; eight grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Saturday, December 2, 2023, 11:00am, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment private.
