Mrs. Debra Samuel Jones, 67, of Newnan, GA passed on Friday, July 1, 2022, at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Born in Greenville, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Johnny and Mattie Mae Butler Samuels.
She was married to David Jones for 47 years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Davita (Brandon) Love of Newnan, GA; three sons, David T. (Deidra) Jones of Newnan, GA, Derrick T. Jones of Peachtree City, GA, and Demargio T. Jones of Alexandria, VA; two sisters, Veronica (Willie) Nedwards, of Piedmont, SC, and Teresa (Rev. Michael) Thurmond of Greenville, SC; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial Service: Sunday, July 17, 2022, 2:00pm at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary with private interment.
