Deacon John Jones

Deacon John Wesley Jones, 91, of 15 Cloverdale Lane, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at home. Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late Mack and Lula B. Abercrombie Jones. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dr. Rubye H. Jones.
He is survived by daughters, Karen (Larry) Jones Cooke of Greenville and Kimberly Jones O’Bannon of Fayetteville, GA; and grandchildren, Jazmin N. Cooke and Wesley E. Cooke, both of Greenville, and William C. O’Bannon and John R. O’Bannon, both of Fayetteville, GA.
Funeral Service: Tuesday, November 24, 2015, 1:00 PM at Springfield Baptist Church, with burial in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Springfield Baptist Church Educational Fund.
