Mr. David C. Gilliard

Mr. David Gilliard 68, of Greenville, transitioned on Saturday March 21, 2026 at Prisma Health. Born in Greenville County, he was the son of the late Jim Gilliard and Mary Frances White.

Surviving: three daughters, Tiwanna Irby, Kianna Irby, and Janice (Mike) Garrison, all of Greenville, SC; five sons, David Smith, Demetrius Smith, Dion Irby, Don Irby, and Eric Bell, all of Greenville, SC; one sister, Betty Joe Davis, of Greenville, SC; one brother, Terry J. Gilliard, of Greenville, SC; companion for over forty years, Darlene Shell,twenty grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, twenty great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Saturday, March 28, 2026, 2:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
