Mr. Daqwuntavest Taqwan Barber, 30, of Greenville, transitioned on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. He was a son of Walter Barber and the late Kimberly Denise McMahan.

Surviving, in addition to his father: his companion, Monique Moss of the home; three sisters, Nydasia McBee and Jasmine Baber both of Greenville, SC and Tatyana Baber of Fayetteville, NC; three brothers, Nydravis McBee and Sean Barber both of Greenville, SC and RaShaun Baber of Seneca, SC; paternal grandparents: Walter E. (Sheryl) Edens; and a host of other relatives and friends.
