Mr. Dan Harrison, 75, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at St. Francis Health System Downtown. Born in Greer, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Paul and Catherine Jackson Harrison.
He was a 1960 graduate of Lincoln High School and retired from Standard Trucking and McAfee Furniture Companies.
He attended the Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Greer, South Carolina and New Forksville Baptist Church in Honea Path, South Carolina.
Left to treasure loving memories are his wife, Dorothy Golden Harrison of the home; one daughter, Danette Harrison (Myron) Chambliss of Irmo; one son, Garry F. (Priscilla) Harrison of Piedmont; one sister, Phyllis Ann (Willie) Murphy of Duncan; two brothers, Paul D. (Margaret) Harrison, Sr., of Durham, NC and Gaither Harrison of Mauldin; one berother-in-law, Rev. Johnny (Wanda) Golden of Baltimore, MD; fifteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
