Ms. Daisy Virginia Tolbert-Young, 83, of Greenville, transitioned on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at Simpsonville Post Acute. 

She was a daughter of the late James Madison Tolbert and the late Della Brockman Tolbert. 

Surviving: one daughter, Beverly Tolbert, of Greenville, SC; one granddaughter, Nakeia Wharton, of Greenville, SC; one grandson, Travis Wharton, of Dallas, TX; one brother, Bobby L. (Barbara) Tolbert, of Greenville, SC; one niece raised in the family home, Annie L. Jennings, of Pelzer, SC; and an abundance of other family and friends.

Funeral Services: Wednesday, August 26, 2026, 1:00PM, at Reedy River Missionary Baptist Church in Mauldin, SC.
