Deacon Clifford McKinney, 69, of Greenville, South Carolina, husband to Angerena McGowan McKinney for 47 years, transitioned on Monday, January 1, 2024, at St. Francis Hospital, Downtown. He was a son of the late Horace and Alice Dogan McKinney.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Apostle Patrick (Karen) Garrett of Greenville, SC and Minister Jermaine (Tangie) McKinney of Simpsonville, SC; five siblings, Deacon Robert (Claudette) McKinney and Henry (Barbara) McKinney both of Mauldin, SC, Lillie (Louis) Mobley of Memphis, TN, Bobbie Sue (Glenn) Durham of Greenville, SC and Phyllis (Timmy) Southern of Rutledge, TN; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Wednesday, January 10, 2024, 2:00pm, at Flat Rock Missionary Baptist Church, with interment in Church Cemetery.
