Clemmie Jones

Ms. Clemmie M. Jones, 89, widow of the late Eddie Jones Sr., transitioned Sunday, September 13, 2026, at St. Francis Eastside. She was a daughter of the late General McAlister and Sarah Timmons McAlister Simmons.

Surviving; two daughters, Tasha Jones of Huntersville, NC and Tania Jones (Dane) Toomer of Columbia, SC; one brother, James McAlister of Philadelphia, PA; two grandchildren, Delaney Toomer of Washington, DC and Donovon Toomer of Los Angeles, CA; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Sunday, September 20, 2026, 2PM, John Wesley United Methodist Church, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
