Mrs. Christine Thomas Quarles, 69, of Greenville, South Carolina, wife of Joseph “Joe” E. Quarles for 31 years, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at her residence. Born in Taylors, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Thomas and Frances Hudson Neubia.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Crystal (James) McBee of Greenville, SC; three step-sons, Rico Quarles of Salem, VA, Joseph Quarles of Charlotte, NC and Germaine (Gwen) Quarles of Salem, VA; three sisters, Annette (Richard) Kerns of Greenville, SC, Mary Frances DePass of Atlanta, GA and Estella (Russell) Rickenbacker of Taylors, SC; one brother, Gerard (Nancy) Thomas of Detroit, MI; several bonus grandchildren and great-grandchildren; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Thursday, December 7, 2023, 3:00pm at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary with interment private
