Carrie Lee Avant McDonald

Mrs. Carrie Lee Avant McDonald, 71, of Greenville, South Carolina, wife of David McDonald of forty-nine years, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at her residence. Born in Charleston County, she was a daughter of the late Joe and Elizabeth Harris Avant.

Surviving, in addition to her husband:  two daughters, Tamiko Chanell McDonald, Duluth, GA and Sade’ Uniquia McDonald of Greenville, SC; two sons, Anthony LeNathaniel (Rhonda) Avant of Manning, SC and Teyon Sentell McDonald (Sharon Smith) of Greenville, SC; two sisters, Shirley Lewis and Sadie Williams both of Manning, SC; one brother, Willie Avant of San Diego, CA; fourteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Funeral Services: Thursday, April 11, 2024, 11:00am, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery, Anderson, SC.
