Calvin Steele Reid

Mr. Calvin Steele Reid, 76, of Simpsonville, South Carolina passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2024, at Prisma Health. Born in Pelzer, South Carolina, he was the son of the late John Wesley and Mamie Seaborn Reid. 

Surviving: his wife, Mamie Reid, of the home, a daughter, Channon Adrienne Reid, four sisters, Ruth Ann Cook, of Pelzer, SC; Willie Mae Crump, of Roswell, GA; Bobbie Hampton, and Janie Reid, both of Piedmont, SC; one brother, Lonnie Reid, of Pelzer, SC; two grandchildren, Christian Cooper, of Columbus, OH; Zion Reid, of Simpsonville, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

Funeral Services: Saturday, June 22, 2024, 11:00am, at Shady Grove Baptist Church, Pelzer, SC; with interment private.
